His family has confirmed the news of his passing, which has left a significant void in the hearts of many who knew and loved him.
Guilbault was married to Clare Lemarié Guilbault, the love of his life, for 51 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Glenn was known for his deep love of family and friends, often bringing people together with his engaging stories and infectious personality. He welcomed everyone with open arms and was always eager to lend a helping hand or offer solutions to problems.
As a Certified Public Accountant for 50 years, Guilbault earned a stellar reputation in his field, respected for his professionalism and integrity. Beyond his career, he was described by those close to him as “a mountain of a man,” characterized by his impressive stature and larger-than-life personality. His booming voice and jovial demeanor often made him the life of gatherings.
Glenn was happiest when surrounded by his family. His sons, Glenn “Beau” Guilbault Jr. (Lili), Travis Guilbault, and Bart Guilbault (Rachel), remember him for his unwavering support and encouragement. He took immense pride in being a grandfather to Lauren, Justin, Emma, and Sienna Guilbault, and he was deeply involved in their lives. Additionally, he leaves behind Emma’s mother, Krystle Schneider, and his sister, Julie Rodrigue, along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Paul Guilbault and Catherine Vogts Guilbault, and his brothers, Robert Paul, Michael C., and Charles “Corky” Guilbault. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through those he leaves behind.
A memorial service to honor Glenn Guilbault will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, located at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans. Visitation is scheduled to take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Mass commencing at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will follow at Metairie Cemetery.
