New Orleans – Gray Media, along with WBRC 6 News and the New Orleans Saints, has announced a five-year extension to their broadcast partnership that will last through the conclusion of the 2029 NFL season. This agreement reaffirms their dedication to providing extensive sports coverage and enhancing fan engagement in the New Orleans community.

The extension will commence with all three of the Saints’ preseason games, which are set to begin on August 10, 2025. The initial game will see the Saints visit Los Angeles to take on the Chargers, marking an exciting start to the preseason.

As the Official Television Broadcast Partner of the New Orleans Saints, Gray Media will air the preseason games on its 15-station Saints Pre-Season Network, including broadcasts on WBRC locally. After each game, Gray’s Gulf Coast Sports and Entertainment Network (GCSEN) will rebroadcast the matches the following day, ensuring fans have ample opportunity to catch the action.

This partnership extends beyond just game broadcasts. Both WBRC and the Saints plan to co-produce new exclusive programming related to the team. WBRC will develop five weekly Saints-related shows, which will air across WBRC and/or GCSEN. This initiative will provide viewers with in-depth analysis, player interviews, and behind-the-scenes content to enrich their viewing experience.

Additionally, Gray Media will premiere a special NFL Films documentary titled “Waiting on Moore,” which will delve into the lives and strategies of the Saints under the guidance of new Head Coach Kellen Moore. This documentary is scheduled to air on GCSEN on June 8 and 9, beginning at 7 p.m. CT.

This renewed partnership is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the local sports narrative and provide fans with premium content. The executives involved in this agreement have expressed great enthusiasm about the collaborative efforts and their commitment to first-class coverage, which promises unique access for fans throughout the upcoming seasons.

Gray Media stands out as the largest owner of local television stations and digital assets in the United States, reaching approximately 37% of U.S. television households. With a wide array of media properties that include video production companies and digital marketing services, Gray Media is well-positioned to deliver quality programming and innovative sports coverage.

The GCSEN, which serves 13 regional television markets, will play a crucial role in reaching a broader audience during the extended partnership, ensuring that the excitement of the Saints’ games is accessible to fans across multiple platforms. This collaboration is thus significant not only for its immediate impact but also for its long-term contributions to sports broadcasting in the region.
