New Orleans has gained a new dining option with the opening of Le Moyne Bistro, which serves modern French cuisine. Established in April 2023, the restaurant is located at 746 Tchoupitoulas St. in the city’s vibrant Warehouse District, where it takes the place of the former Tommy’s Cuisine.

Le Moyne Bistro is the latest venture from the Fuzzy Hospitality Group, a well-known restaurant group in the region that also manages Plates and Maria’s Oyster & Wine Bar. Under the leadership of General Manager Tim Armstead and Executive Chefs Farrell Harrison and Christian Hurst, the culinary team is dedicated to creating dishes that honor traditional French gastronomy while incorporating modern twists.

At Le Moyne Bistro, diners can expect a menu that champions regionally sourced ingredients from local farmers and fishermen, ensuring the freshest flavors in every dish. Signature offerings include Chicken au Riesling with Bacon and Crème Fraîche, Beef Short Rib Carbonnade, and Gulf Fish Courtbouillon. The restaurant also features elevated hors d’oeuvres, such as Beef Tartare with Cured Egg Yolk and Bone Marrow & Escargot.

The dessert menu, crafted by Pastry Chef Ryan McDougall, consists of delightful options, including Lavender Crème Brûlée and Lemon Posset. Notable drinks include the Calvados Spritz and Agave En Fleur.

Other seasonal highlights include grilled Jimmy Nardello peppers, elegantly finished with tomato vinaigrette, and the classic Tuna Nicoise, featuring rare tuna alongside fresh vegetables and a farm egg.
