New Orleans – Gray Media has announced a significant five-year extension of its broadcast agreement with the New Orleans Saints. This agreement will see partnership continuity until the conclusion of the 2029 NFL season, further strengthening the media company’s ties to the iconic football franchise.

The new contract will officially commence with the Saints’ preseason games starting on August 10, 2025. The first game will feature the Saints traveling to Los Angeles to face off against the Chargers. This extension reflects Gray Media’s commitment to bringing Saints-related content to local audiences while significantly enhancing community sports coverage.

As part of the agreement, all three of the Saints’ preseason games will be broadcasted on Gray Media’s 15-station Saints Pre-Season Network, which includes FOX10 serving the Mobile-Pensacola area. Fans can also look forward to additional access to the games via the Gulf Coast Sports and Entertainment Network (GCSEN), which will air rebroadcasts of the preseason games the following day. This ensures that even those who miss the live broadcasts can enjoy the games shortly after they conclude.

In addition to game coverage, the partnership will introduce new Saints-focused programming. Viewers can expect five weekly shows to be aired on FOX8 and/or GCSEN, providing deeper insights and analyses of the team. Moreover, Gray Media is set to premiere an exclusive NFL Films documentary titled “Waiting on Moore,” which will center on the Saints and newly appointed head coach Kellen Moore. The documentary is scheduled to air on June 8 and 9 at 7 PM CT, promising to offer fans an in-depth look at the team’s preparations and future prospects.

The collaborative efforts between Gray Media and the New Orleans Saints extend beyond football. Gray Media is also the official broadcast partner for the New Orleans Pelicans, the NBA franchise. This multi-sport partnership aims to enhance local sports coverage across the Gulf Coast, creating a richer viewing experience for fans of both teams.

Gray Media’s Chief Operating Officer has expressed enthusiasm about the extended partnership, underscoring a shared goal of promoting community engagement through sports. Leaders of both organizations acknowledge the strength of their collaboration, emphasizing its importance to the local fan base and the surrounding community.

This extension cements Gray Media’s commitment to supporting regional sports, with the intention of providing fans with extensive access to their favorite teams and events. The integrated coverage of both the Saints and Pelicans is designed to cultivate a stronger sports culture throughout the Gulf Coast region.

The challenges of modern sports broadcasting have underscored the necessity for robust partnerships between media entities and professional franchises. By aligning with the New Orleans Saints, Gray Media aims to leverage its resources and networks to enhance the quality and availability of sports programming tailored to local viewers.

As the NFL season progresses, fans can look forward to engaging with the Saints through newshows and expansive game coverage, ensuring that the excitement of professional football remains prominent in the Gulf Coast’s vibrant sports scene.
